(week3)Harmony Between Races?!

HAHAHA

yes , welcome back to another Louis's Head Stories Segment.

Recently , there has been alot of tension here in Malaysia , where I come from.
Tension in terms of the difference in Races and how each other has to cope with the other and all sorts of things.

But , aside from what seems to be total chaos , Malaysia is truly in Peace together , if you look at it closely.

For instance , Mamak stalls.
Aye the wonderful place where alllll kinds of food can be found.
Literally.
You see , The mamak , is a sort of little restaurant , that is really really cheap.
That isnt the main thing though. The food. Yes , The food is INCREDIBLE!

Not only u get the satisfaction of Malay style foods , but you also get Chinese and also Indian foods in these places.

SOME even have Western food mixed into the menus!

But yea , this doesnt really prove Racial Harmony , NOT! IT DOES! ALOT!
Cant you see , THE FOOD! ITS ALL TOGETHER!
Such Work can be only done hand in hand by the different Races that reside in this wonderful country in the South East part of Asia.

Sure , there has been trouble between the different races in terms of culture and other things , most of all - Religion.

But , within all this misunderstanding and confusion , behind the extremists and haters , there are the rest of the nation , that work together , share things together and most of all stay together , through it all to live life here to the fullest.

For instance , Chinese New Year , Christmas and so on , The whole nation literally celebrates them! Sure , its more geared for each culture/religion and so on , BUT , us being MALAYSIANS , we all celebrate is as a family , together.

ALSO , a Fabulous work of Racial Harmony in this entire World is the highly Celebrated Event , The OLYMPICS.

Yes , The Olympics , Originally created by the Ancient Greeks , is now a world wide spectacle where Countries all around the world , people from all different Races come together to challenge each other in many Sports for the glory.

No matter what race , gender and so on , all would come forth to compete in this spectacle , and it is all carried out with fairness and sportsmanship above any. The Olympics is held every 4 years and each Olympic venue switches from country to country. The last Olympics was held in China at 2008 at the city of Beijing. The next is to be the 2012 Olympics , held in London , the capital City of England.

Also there are other things such as Media , Like Music! Music is a form of Racial Harmony , as there are no boundaries of it. Everyone can listen and appreciate the song that comes from any other race and or such.

Another great example of Racial Harmony is this Inspirational and Incredible Video found in Youtube by
Matt Harding.

But Could there be Racial Harmony here in Malaysia?! Yes! certainly! There is basically no major problem here , but its because many cannot actually Mix in and accept others. This 'Inside The Box' type thinking causes unnecessary conflict and tension between races.

But this sort of 'In the Box' thinking is slowly disappearing , because the young of the country who in the midst of all this see what the grownups are doing that is quite unnecessary and or wrong , will know what is truly right as they know what the others are like.

Schools , Colleges are perfect places of a true example of Racial Harmony. Sure some schools have basic Groups of the same races banding together , but for over 90% of other schools in this country , every other school , together everyone learns , plays and helps each other get past hardships and such through their school lives. They are the Future of this country.
This doesnt only apply on here , but to everywhere around the world. From the East to the West.

The young is the one who will know the true Harmony that is shared between cultures , as they all experience life together side by side.
Slowly it will disappear , but for now , many old thinkers still hang on.
But later , the young will be the future leaders of the world , and they will know whats right and whats wrong.

Like me , and my friends.
